Last year half a million lats of MTPL policies was allotted for organization of informative campaigns arranged by the Road Traffic Safety Council.

Annually insurers charge up to the special account of LTAB 2% of proceeds generated by MTPL policies. In 2005 the fund’s budget was enlarged by over half a million lats. The largest portion of the said means has been invested in organization of informative campaigns targeted at facilitation of road traffic safety on Latvian roads. PDF
